Sport NZ is the kaitiaki of the play, active recreation and sport system in Aotearoa New Zealand.

New Zealand Esports Federation was recognised as the National Sporting Organisation (NSO) in 2020, which gives us the ability to apply for specific funding to increase participation in esports for New Zealand. This status includes benefits like our comprehensive complaints process, learning modules to help protect NZ players, and support us on special projects like returning kiwi players home from overseas when difficult situations arise.

The Esports Integrity Commission works with esports stakeholders to protect the integrity of esports competition.

Our partnership with ESIC is to ensure we can best represent New Zealand teams, players and other stakeholders when dealing with situations involving match-fixing, corruption, doping and other integrity related issues.

The International Esports Federation promotes esports as a true sport beyond barriers, working on behalf of it’s member nations from across the globe.

The IESF enable many international pathways for New Zealand esport athletes, such as the annual World Esport Championships where our E Black squad represents New Zealand on a global stage.

The Global Esports Federation promotes the credibility, legitimacy and prestige of esports. We convene athletes, players and industry leaders together on one inclusive platform.
