The Hyperfibre League is back for 2024!

The NZ Esports Hyperfibre League is Back for 2024 with a new format!

It’s that time of the year when we gear up for New Zealands premiere esports event. LetsPlay.Live, is joining forces once again with NZ Esports to bring to you the NZ Esports Hyperfibre League! .

Every year we aim to build on the NZEHL to make it reach even more people, and this year we’re focusing on bringing six competitions to kiwi gamers. Each tournament will be a five-week event, ending in a grand final broadcast to SKY TV. We’re kicking off the year with two hugely popular titles, that also give players a pathway to the world stage with CounterStrike 2 and PUBG Mobile. “We are excited to be able to bring the NZ Esports Hyperfibre League back for another year at LPL.”, said Duane Mutu, Managing Director, LetsPlay.Live, “We love nothing more than providing players with a way to compete at the top level, discovering new talented esports athletes and helping to promote New Zealand esports on the world stage.”.

“Having powerhouse partners like Chorus and LetsPlay.Live to bring more esports opportunities and pathways to kiwi gamers is a testament to the growing dominant force of esports in New Zealand.” Said Jonathan Jansen, CEO of NZ Esports, “This is our third year running the Hyperfibre League and it’s always great to see the connections made, the talent discovered, and the lives impacted when we let kiwis connect and compete without boundaries over our incredible fibre networks.”
