Autumn Clash Tournament

The Autumn Clash is NZSS Esports’ premier online tournament kicking off the school esports year. Schools compete in multiple game titles over five weeks in best-of-two matches for ladder points. Competitions are split into Social and Competitive divisions, suitable for both newcomers and seasoned players.

For every team you have competing in the Autumn Clash, your school will earn Clash Points. Schools with the most Clash Points at the end of the year will be invited to the LAN Clash in the following year.

Games & Format:

1. Rocket League – 3-player teams (PC/Console), Monday matches.
2. League of Legends – 5-player teams (PC), Monday.
3. Mobile Legends – 5-player teams (Mobile), Monday.
4. Valorant – 5-player teams (PC), Tuesday.
5. Overwatch 2 – 5-player teams (PC/Console), Wednesday.
6. Marvel Rivals – 6-player teams (PC/Console), Wednesday.
7. Trackmania – Individual players (PC/Console), Tuesday.
8. 2XKO – 2-player teams (PC/Console), Tuesday.

All matches start at 4.15 pm, with ladder points awarded per best-of-two result. 

Please note:All games that meet the minimum number of required teams/players will go ahead, so register now or encourage your students to submit teams to help ensure we can run the leagues.

How to Participate:

• Register Your School – enter school details during the registration window.
• Confirm Your Teams – finalise and sumbit rosters by 27 February, before the competition begins 
• Compete Online – play through five weekly rounds for ladder points.

Key Dates for 2025:

• 02 February: Registration opens.
• 27 February: Registration closes.
• 02 March: Autumn Clash Begins
• 03 April: Autumn Clash Ends
