Hambats Mighty Monthly #2

Hamilton Ranking Battles, or affectionately named Hambats by local veterans, is a long-standing tournament series that has been hosted at the Western Community Centre in Nawton for many years. This has been the training ground for all of our greatest players – a spot where great friends were made, friendly rivalries started, champions have been crowned, and mean kai has been had.

In 2023, Hambats has taken over the whole community centre, and will be the biggest it has ever been – with several new game releases such as Street Fighter 6 and Tekken 8 on the horizon, we needed to make sure we were prepared. Go big or go home, as they say. With this in mind, we have a new name – the Mighty Monthly.

The Mighty Monthly is a monthly iteration of Hambats, to be hosted on one Saturday each month of 2023. It costs $10 to enter, but with that $10, you can enter as many events at the tournament as you would like. Players from anywhere are welcome to come along and challenge our locals; we will provide all the good vibes, you just have to bring your controllers / fightsticks, your fighting game skills and a good attitude.
