Two spots open: help us bring esports to MOTAT visitors.
MOTAT Sports Tech is coming up and we need a hand. Specifically, we need 2 people to staff the E Blacks stand for both days, which (if you haven’t seen it) is our gaming setup built into a vehicle. You’d be there to facilitate gaming sessions, answer questions, and generally make sure people have a good time trying out esports.

- Dates: Saturday, 23 May – Sunday, 24 May
- Time: 9am – 4pm
- Location: MOTAT Great North Road
- Availability: Please let us know if you could work one or both days
It’s a public-facing opportunity, so you should be comfortable chatting to people and explaining things. No technical knowledge required, just enthusiasm for gaming and the ability to show up on time.
If you’ve been thinking about volunteering with us but weren’t sure where to start, this is actually a solid entry point. Events like this are how a lot of our current volunteers got involved.
💡 Please note: This is a voluntary position, so there’s no payment for the work. However, you’ll receive free access to the event for the days you volunteer including food both days.
